News and Announcements
There are no coaches available to take this Thursday’s Lido session.
We plan to still train without a coach hopefully one of the Masters swimmers will keep an eye on things. Normally the Lido staff are happy for us to still swim without a coach as long as a responsible adults are in attendance.
With August fast approaching I wanted to get an email out to let you know of the training that is available during the month of August. During August we will stop training on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays (Charterhouse) & Thursday (mornings). Training will continue on Wednesdays & Fridays at Broadwater and the Lido Guildford on Thursday evenings:

Hi All Senior & Lower Senior Squad Swimmers,
Andrew Oakey has very kindly agreed to organise a ‘taster’ session where he will pass on some of the Lifesaving Coaching skills he has learnt over the past 18 months. Andrew is now a qualified Lifesaving Trainer and we are confident a fun session can be had for all those who attend. The session will take place on Wednesday 16th August between 7pm and 9pm at Godalming Leisure Centre.
If you are not on holiday – come along – see the link below to see what’s in store.

The Lido is normal training.
Good morning all,
I believe a huge congratulations is in order to all those who swam on Saturday night in the Broadwater Trophy gala! We won with 132 points, Haslemere on 110, Chichester on 89 and Tonbridge on 74. Well done to all those who swam, it was a fantastic gala and there were some brilliant times.
Thank you to all the officials and helpers, we wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all chipping in. Hopefully next time, we can get some new friendly faces helping out.
I have attached the team photo as well as a spreadsheet of the results. I have included the time limit that we were not allowed to swim faster than as well as the finals time that each swimmer swam.
Thanks again everybody and hope everyone enjoyed themselves!
